36hrs of flight time later…

On the flight to Detroit

11.20pm: I’m finally back on terra firma… Buffalo. I think I’ve set my own personal record of raking up 36hrs of non-stop flying from Singapore to Brisbane to Los Angeles to Detroit and finally Buffalo. While trying to sleep on the plane has always been a challenge to me, trying not to fall asleep during long transits at the airport is even worse, since I’d risk missing my flight.

Just some interesting trackbacks before I shower and sleep (gotta work tomorrow!):
1. I wrote about Brennan last week. Now he wrote about the “accentless” me…
2. RamblingLibrarian writes about the Second Life Library Opening event (Oct 12-14) and finds a fellow Singaporean there…
3. As VanTan noted, Google finally bought YouTube. I think Google is now preparing to remove copyrighted videos. Ouch!
4. My sister writes about the moments before I flew off at Changi Airport.

  1. this brings an interesting point – youtube got popular partially based on copyrighted materials. what will happen to youtube from hereon? ^_^

  2. While YouTube makes it very easy to upload and share videos, I tend to agree that the sharing and viewing of copyrighted videos was the most attractive “feature” of YouTube. I think Google’s change will affect YouTube’s viewership in future.
