Nick Cannon’s “Wild n Out” = Whose Line is it Anyway + HipHop Battles

Hold it right there…. you’re on the right channel. Word has it that I don’t watch MTV, nor hip-hop music videos a whole lot, but tonight I saw something that got to my wicked sense of funny. Introducing Nick Cannon’s “Wild n Out”. Yes, you’ll see lots of slutty biatches and some mandatory swearing, but in our generation of mashups and remixes, improv now co-exists with hiphop battling. Think of it as a vulgar MTV version of “Whose Line Is It Anyway?“. The above video comes from an interesting episode… just watch for how well the Red Team’s female Indian rapper, Rasika Mathur, fend for herself in the company of guys. In all, its sweet to see what homies of all race and gender can creatively whack together in friendly competition. Fun late night appetizers to my main entree of The Colbert Report.

  5. I really love Nick Cannon he is soooo HOT. I love the fact that he presents wild and out cos it’s my favorite program I could watch it all day. I can’t wait until it airs on MTV UK, I really wanna go to LA and watch an episode live and one day I will. Mini Pimp is soooooo funny (I don’t know his real name).
    Love ya Nickxxxxx

  6. Wild ‘n Out is very much like Whose Line, with one very important difference…It’s not even vaguely funny. Nick Cannon is a twat. I had seen him on tv many times b4, acting like a dick, imagine my surprise and disbelief when I found out he is a comedian by trade (obviously didn’t finish his apprenticeship).
Nicky C isn’t the main issue here though, just a contributing factor. The comedy in this show just plain does not exist. It’s forced and contrived just like the laughter that eminates from the competitors mouths. A normal audience wouldn’t even crack a smile, lucky the producers were able to get a hold of the same cackling hood rats that used to raise the roof at the Apollo. No comedy, just a bunch of turkeys all trying to out do each other in the “I’m gittin into this” competition by waving their arms about, whooping, hollering and slapping their knees in the most theatrical fashion they can muster despite the fact that THE SHIT AINT FUNNY.
Wild ‘n Out is nothing short of pathetic.
