Busy busy busy weekend…

7-11 strangeness
Spot anything funny about this photo? Saw it near the Vivocity cinema…

Something I’ve liked about Twitter is how it forces you to tell your tale in just a hundred and forty characters. For instance, this Saturday could be summed up like this:

10am: Raffles Biodiversity Museum Tour @ NUS with Heritage folks // 3pm: Coffee with Siva on Yesterday.sg // 7pm: Met folks from Ping.sg

Everything was touch and go, with my students’ exams and grades beckoning for me at the back of my mind. That’s why after all the adventures on Saturday, my Sunday has been filled with getting things done. As they say in army, “last burst of fire” before my teaching stint ends this April. Updates when life ain’t so crazy…

  • Oh yes Big, I forgot to tell you about that guitar. It's so wrong, it's right. :)

Doraemon being impaled by a guitar neck... that is what's wrong/funny. It is just not right. Doraemons are people too.
  • A 7-11 that doesn't open for 24hrs is like Harry Potter not having magical powers.
  • Haha so much for 7-11! Thankfully NUS has Cheers which operates 24 hours most of the time.
  • Yeah, these are probably to sync with the closing time of the shopping centres.

Speaking of which, NTU's 7 Eleven actually has operating hours too, which is a bane for people who stay in the halls of residence who may need things at night... Luckily there's another 24-hour shop within NTU, but it's so far away from the halls!

Actually, there are quite a few 7-11 with operating hours. The one at City Link also has a operating hr too IIRC.
